Smart Vision school offer parents and care-givers many opportunities to participate and become involved in school life. From fundraisers to community clean-up campaigns or tree-planting, adults are welcome into the school to help support pupil learning, or further improve the school environment. Involvement and partnership is important to ensure that we establish a sense of community among parents, teachers and pupils.

Parental engagement in their son/daughter's learning has a beneficial impact on raising attainment and performance standards of pupils. International research shows that children with supportive, encouraging and involved parents do better at school, have better social skills and behaviour, and make better life choices. Engaged parents are strong role models, actively demonstrating their support and sending the key message that they value education. Every parent, regardless of culture, language or experience, has much to offer their child, and conversation is at the heart of this positive parental engagement.

Smart Vision believes very passionately in helping all of our students reach their full potential. We see our parents as central to that aspiration, and seek to give them the information, tools and resources to help their children be the best they can be.
